INFORMATION :
Zine is a furniture piece made for exhibitions and museums to work as a stand alone display piece for books, magazines, brochures. designed with teak wood and powder coated mild steel sheets. This design is simple enough to ship de assembled and can be assembled at site with minimum efforts.
Collaboration with SHIVAM BHATKANDE.
1.
2/4 pieces of wood were hand-sanded to create a lofted shape for the legs.
2.
A sheet metal piece with the desired dimensions was bent to a perfect shape by hand, and powder-coated later.
3.
a simple joinery was designed to secure the 2 legs together
4.
Simple cuts and dowels were used to secure the sheet metal and legs together.
